Chelsea Krier

Executive Chef

Chef Chelsea has worked in restaurants since age 15, starting in the front of house as a hostess, server, and bartender before transitioning into the kitchen. After working in restaurants across California, Colorado, Yellowstone, Washington, and the Virgin Islands, she moved to Philadelphia to formally pursue cooking.

With plans to eventually open a restaurant of her own — and wanting to be able to work the line herself — she attended culinary school and graduated in 2014. She went on to cook at notable Philadelphia kitchens including Talula’s Garden, Lacroix at the Rittenhouse Hotel, and Jen Carroll’s Spice Finch.

Since joining Midnight Pasta in 2024, Chef Chelsea has led the culinary program and teaches alongside the team. “The family we’ve created here at Midnight Pasta — and those who become family after attending a class — has 1000% been the highlight of my career.”

Taylor Rand

Front of House Manager + Beverage Program Director

Making cocktails for Midnight Pasta has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. After 14+ years behind the bar, I finally have the creative freedom to make whatever I’m inspired by in the moment. I get to experiment, get a little funky, and introduce our guests to cocktails they might never have ordered on their own.

The best part? Watching someone who swears they don’t like gin ask for the recipe by the end of the night. That’s the magic — and that’s why I love what I do.
